DSE controllers show this as a text alarm on the display, not as a numbered code.
The generator output voltage has dropped below the minimum acceptable level. Under voltage can cause connected equipment to malfunction and indicates problems with AVR, excitation, speed control, or overloading.

Voltage drop under load indicates the generator may be overloaded, the AVR is not responding properly, or there is excessive voltage drop in connections. Check load vs capacity first.
Most AVRs have a voltage adjustment potentiometer. Adjust slowly while monitoring output with a meter. Only adjust with stable load and at correct speed.
Send us the code or alarm and what the generator is doing, and one of our engineers will help you diagnose it.

A fault code names a symptom, not a cause. Our engineers have written the diagnostic sequence they use on site for this class of fault — ranked causes, ordered steps with the reading expected at each one, and the point at which to stop and call someone.
