Perkins recommends Extended Life Coolant (ELC) meeting ASTM D6210 specification. Use 50/50 pre-mix or mix concentrate with clean water. Check for correct freezing/boiling protection.
Typical shutdown temperature is 102-108 deg C depending on engine model and calibration. Warning activates approximately 8-10 degrees before shutdown threshold.
